It was a good run, but Curry unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the East Lawrence Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Yellowjackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Curry's defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for East Lawrence, their win ended a seven-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 14-14.

Curry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy on the 27th. As for East Lawrence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Colbert Heights on the 27th.
