Sacramento Waldorf has gone 9-1 against Encina recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Waves will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Encina took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sacramento Waldorf, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Sacramento Waldorf earned a 3-1 victory over Foresthill.

Sacramento Waldorf had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-15, 25-8, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Encina came up short against Forest Lake Christian on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-14.

Sacramento Waldorf's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Encina, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Sacramento Waldorf took their victory against Encina when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Waves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
