Uxbridge extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping their season record up to 10-2 in the process. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Auburn Rockets 5-3. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since June 2, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Having lost for the first time this season, Auburn fell to 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since June 1, 2024.

For Auburn's part, Cameron McLaughlin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
