Volleyball Recap: Pendleton County's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pendleton County waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Paw Paw Pirates as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Thursday.

Pendleton County not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Paw Paw between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-15.

Brynlynn Waggy paced Pendleton County's offense, picking up 13 kills. Waggy got some help from Carolyn Varner and her 18 assists. Colbie Wimer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pendleton County's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Paw Paw, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Pendleton County nor Paw Paw have any future games scheduled.
