Softball Recap: Plumstead Christian's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Plumstead Christian won the last time they faced Delaware County Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. Plumstead Christian put the hurt on Delaware County Christian with a sharp 18-10 win. Considering Plumstead Christian has won four games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Madison Edgerton was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Plumstead Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Plumstead Christian's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Delaware County Christian, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plumstead Christian will host New Hope-Solebury at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Plumstead Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Delaware County Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
