Football Game Preview: Richland Raiders vs. Fayetteville Tigers + How To Watch

The Richland Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the Fayetteville Tigers on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Fayetteville will be up against a hot Richland team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Raiders blew past Summertown 30-10 on Friday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Raiders just coasted through the last quarter.

Jake Sands produced another solid effort rushing for 67 yards and two scores, while also picking up 32 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Fayetteville got the win against Moore County on Friday by a conclusive 33-7. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Richland better keep an eye on Fernando Leslie. He was instrumental in Fayetteville's win, rushing for 79 yards and one touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyles Barnett, who threw for 127 yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Fayetteville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 212 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Moore County only rushed for 113.

Richland's record is now 6-2. As for Fayetteville, their record now sits at 3-4.

Richland ended up a good deal behind Fayetteville in their previous matchup back in September of 2020, losing 20-6. Thankfully for the Raiders, Graham Pace (who rushed for 138 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
