The South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the North Central Thunder at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Thursday, South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] came up short against Enderlin and fell 58-49.

Meanwhile, North Central also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Ipswich by a score of 53-43.

South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley]'s loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything went South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley]'s way against North Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] made off with a 60-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
