Volleyball Recap: East Hall Comes Up Short

East Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Madison County Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16.

Kylee Treadway had a dynamite game For Madison County., getting nine aces and seven assists. Those nine aces gave Treadway a new career-high. Cora Beth Strickland also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

East Hall's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Madison County, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, East Hall will challenge Franklin County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Madison County, they will square off against McDonough at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
