Soccer Game Preview: Casa Grande vs. Castro Valley

The Casa Grande Gauchos will take on the Castro Valley Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Casa Grande is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Montgomery a 2-0 shutout. The result kept the Gauchos happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 21st.

Julian Chavez and Kevin Brown scored both of Casa Grande's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Castro Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Ygnacio Valley on Tuesday.

Castro Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Casa Grande, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
