Royal Oak won the last time they faced Athens and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Ravens walked away with an 11-6 win over the Red Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ravens.

Laila LaGrand spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, Royal Oak got a massive performance out of Annabelle Sorensen, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Sarah Menzo was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Royal Oak's victory bumped their record up to 6-11-1. As for Athens, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Royal Oak will host Kettering at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Athens, they will head out to take on West Bloomfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
