Softball Game Preview: Argyle Scots vs. Salem Generals

The Argyle Scots will challenge the Salem Generals at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Argyle will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs back in March, then bounced right back against Hadley Luzerne on Monday. The Scots put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 13-1 win. The Scots haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Salem made easy work of North Warren Central on Monday and carried off a 19-1 win.

Argyle beat Salem 7-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Will the Scots repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
