Volleyball Recap: Muncie Central Gets the Win

Muncie Central had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the DeKalb Barons on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for the Bearcats, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Muncie Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 15-13.

The victory got Muncie Central back to even at 3-3. As for DeKalb, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Muncie Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Madison-Grant on the 26th. DeKalb has also already played their next contest (against Fremont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
