Soccer Game Preview: Corinth Holders vs. Athens Drive

The Corinth Holders Pirates will take on the Athens Drive Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Corinth Holders managed to keep up with Wakefield until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Pirates came up short against the Wolverines, falling 4-0. Corinth Holders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Athens Drive had to endure a six-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let Enloe get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday.

Athens Drive's win bumped their record up to 5-13-1. As for Corinth Holders, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Corinth Holders beat Athens Drive 5-3 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
