It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fontainebleau can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to St. Mary's Dominican on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Mary's Dominican to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mallie Mahoney, who hit 66.7% for eight kills and 23 digs and three aces. Mahoney is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Fontainebleau's loss dropped their record down to 29-17. As for St. Mary's Dominican, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 39-5 record this season.

Fontainebleau does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's Dominican, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against St. Joseph's Academy on the 14th.
