Volleyball Game Preview: Sisseton Redmen vs. Webster Bearcats

After both having extra time off, the Sisseton Redmen and the Webster Bearcats will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sisseton lost 3-0 to Great Plains Lutheran on Tuesday. The Redmen haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-16.

Webster had won two straight games and Jersey Johnson did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Bearcats blew past Waubay/Summit 3-0 thanks in part to Johnson, who had 29 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 23 or more digs the last four times she's played.

The win didn't come easy: Waubay/Summit scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-18.

Webster's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Sisseton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.

Sisseton might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Webster in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Redmen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
