Pottsville entered their tilt with Palmyra on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They secured a 61-56 W over the Palmyra Cougars. Given the Crimson Tide's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Cougars are ranked 274th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pottsville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryder Bowers, who made all 5 shots he took to post 19 points. Another player making a difference was JuJu Bainbridge, who made all 5 shots he took for 14 points.

Pottsville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Palmyra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6-1.
