International Community entered their tilt with The Master's Academy on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Comets' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

International Community had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-15, 28-26, 26-24.

Ella Jane DeLoach paced International Community's offense, picking up 15 kills. DeLoach got some help from Evelyn Hammer and her 35 assists. DeLoach was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

International Community's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for The Master's Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, International Community will venture away from home to square off against Altamonte Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for The Master's Academy, they will welcome Father Lopez at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
