Soccer Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Americas Trail Blazers who were credited with the win. While losing is never fun, the Scorpions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Trail Blazers are ranked 91st).

Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Americas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Horizon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against Bel Air on the 12th. As for Americas, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Parkland on the 12th.
