Football Recap: Zion-Benton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Zion-Benton fell victim to Lake Zurich and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 31-0 loss at the hands of the Bears. While losing is never fun, the Zee-Bees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Bears are ranked 41st).

Zion-Benton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3. As for Lake Zurich, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Zion-Benton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-20 defeat against Libertyville on the 10th. As for Lake Zurich, they have also already played their next contest, a 35-0 victory against Mundelein on the 10th.
