Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Classical Academy Knights vs. Immanuel Eagles

The Trinity Classical Academy Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Immanuel Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Trinity Classical Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Trinity Classical Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Lancaster on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-7.

Ethan Johnson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Asaf Ardon, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Immanuel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Reedley, falling 9-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Pirates since May 7, 2024.

Titus Young put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Young was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Young wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jax Davidson, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Trinity Classical Academy's record now sits at 10-10. As for Immanuel, their record is now 11-11.
