Softball Recap: Flat Rock Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eaton Rapids on Saturday, Flat Rock came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the Mercy Marlins by a score of 5-4 on Saturday.

Ashlin Woodman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Flat Rock's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Mercy, the win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Coming up, Flat Rock will take on Fenton at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season. As for Mercy, they will host Marysville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
