Football Recap: Torrey Pines Starts Season with Victory at Home

Torrey Pines took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Point Loma Pointers 46-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Torrey Pines found their leader in freshman Izzie Deiter, who threw for 282 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt. Another player making a difference was Alexa Avila, who gained 102 total yards and a touchdown.
