After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Model, Temple was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed past the Heard County Braves to the tune of 71-39. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Heard County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jakari Andrews went 5-for-8 on his way to 11 points. Andrews is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Bryceon Vaughn, who posted three points and three steals.

Temple is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. Heard County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

Temple didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-60 loss against Model on the 15th. As for Heard County, they have also already played their next game, a 72-49 defeat against Dublin on the 19th.
