After flying high against Greenville on Monday, Carrabec came back down to earth. The Cobras fell just short of the Forest Hills Tigers by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Cobras' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Colton Scheve was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs. He is becoming a predictor of Carrabec's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).
