Recap: Middle College Cougars vs. Larchmont Charter Timberwolves
The Middle College Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Larchmont Charter by a score of 47-45. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Middle College in their matchups with Larchmont Charter: they've now lost three in a row.
Middle College lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ugonna Njoku, who scored six points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Amanze Njoku, who scored seven points.
Middle College's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Larchmont Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
