Soccer Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Arlington finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Station Camp Bison, falling 4-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Arlington came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 12th, while Station Camp are ranked 75th).

Arlington moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Station Camp, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Arlington will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty Creek at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Station Camp, they will challenge Westview at 10:50 a.m. on Saturday.
