Softball Recap: Johnson Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Keith, Johnson was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Marion Rams, sneaking past 12-11. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Johnson's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Marion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Johnson will square off against University Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. University Charter will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Johnson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Marion, they have already played their next matchup, an 8-7 win against Central on the 19th.
