Baseball Recap: Hoover Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hoover's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Burroughs Bears on Tuesday. The Tornados just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Hoover saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Mahler, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Burroughs, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

While Hoover had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
