Addison Trail had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Hinsdale South on Wednesday. The Blazers put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Blazers have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Addison Trail pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hinsdale South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19-1 record this season.
