Basketball Game Preview: Cary Imps vs. Apex Cougars + How To Watch

The Cary Imps will square off against the Apex Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cary will be strutting in after a win while Apex will be coming in after a defeat.

Cary is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-26 victory over Enloe.

Jenna Hayes and Riley Garner were among the main playmakers for Cary as the former almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine steals and the latter almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Those 17 points gave Hayes a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Apex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Fuquay - Varina, falling 64-35. Cougars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bengals since Tuesday.
