Basketball Recap: Oak Harbor Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Oak Harbor won the last time they faced Eastwood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Oak Harbor Rockets walked away with a 41-34 win over the Eastwood Eagles. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Eagles are ranked 500th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oak Harbor's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Eastwood, they dropped their record down to 7-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Harbor will take on Huron at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Oak Harbor is facing Huron at the right time seeing as Huron is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Eastwood, they will face off against Bowling Green at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
