Sumner-Fredericksburg waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Denver Cyclones by a score of 9-4. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sumner-Fredericksburg pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Denver, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-2 record.
