St. Francis de Sales fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Anthony Wayne on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Generals by a score of 6-4. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

St. Francis de Sales got a good showing from Blake Reeder, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Reeder has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Drew Tucker made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Gabe Lisowski was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
