Softball Recap: Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Takes a Loss

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 26-19 to the Falmouth Clippers. The Dolphins haven't had much luck with the Clippers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Brooke Chicoine was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs, eight RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-5. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Emily Ormon was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Falmouth, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Dennis-Yarmouth Regional will host Barnstable at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Falmouth, they will square off against Monomoy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
