Recap: Chesapeake Cougars vs. Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs
In what's become a running theme this season, the Chesapeake Cougars gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Southern Maryland Christian Academy 63-30 on the road. The win was nothing new for Chesapeake as they're now sitting on six straight.
Chesapeake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maggie Lawrence, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. Ava Arruda was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five steals.
Chesapeake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Southern Maryland Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Chesapeake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-33 loss vs. Severna Park on the 7th. Southern Maryland Christian Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 47-24 loss against King's Christian Academy on the 8th.
