Soccer Game Preview: Lindhurst vs. Rio Vista

The Lindhurst Blazers will venture away from home to challenge the Rio Vista Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lindhurst is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.

Lindhurst is headed into the contest having not lost since December 14 and will look to keep things rolling. Their defense stepped up to hand San Juan a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. Given the Blazers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 476th, while the Spartans are ranked 1135th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 goals the game before, Rio Vista was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 9-1 to Mesa Verde.
