Basketball Recap: Garland Takes a Loss

Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nimitz Vikings. The Owls were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Garland's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Nimitz, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Garland has already played their next game, a 71-56 defeat against Aubrey on the 4th. As for Nimitz, they will face off against Colleyville Heritage at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
