Basketball Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

Jordan's tournament run continued when they took on The Meadows School on Friday. The Jordan Beetdiggers fell just short of The Meadows School Mustangs by a score of 63-60. The Beetdiggers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The Meadows School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Uzo Nwapa led the charge by going 8 for 17 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds. Grant Moses was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 15 points and six assists.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for The Meadows School, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Jordan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-50 victory against ALA - West Foothills on the 21st. As for The Meadows School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-42 defeat against Durango on the 21st.
