New England is 3-0 against Belfield since December of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The New England Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Belfield Bantams at 8:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when New England challenged Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] on Saturday. New England was outmatched by Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] and fell 75-27. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Cougars are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, Belfield strolled past Trinity Christian with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 64-49. That 15 point margin sets a new team best for the Bantams this season.

Belfield has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for New England, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

New England beat Belfield 80-67 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will New England repeat their success, or does Belfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
