Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Archbishop Stepinac). They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Cardinal Hayes Cardinals on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Crusaders considering their two-run performance the game before.

The victory got Archbishop Stepinac back to even at 9-9. As for Cardinal Hayes, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Stepinac will host Fordham Prep at 2:45 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cardinal Hayes, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against All Hallows at 7:00 p.m.
