Basketball Recap: El Dorado Springs Comes Up Short

El Dorado Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Fair Grove Eagles and fell 68-34. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Eagles are ranked 185th).

El Dorado Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Fair Grove, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

El Dorado Springs will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Early at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Fair Grove, they will face off against Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
