McClatchy extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 16-7. They never let the Antelope Titans get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Lions have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Madelyn Ogata, who gave up just six hits to keep Antelope off the board.

At the plate, Jayeliza Rogers was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Apostolos, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

McClatchy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .385 or higher in three consecutive contests.

As for Antelope, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-5. The matchup marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

On Antelope's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layla Kelly, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Looking ahead, McClatchy will take on Folsom at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Antelope, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-6 victory against Lincoln on the 7th.
