Basketball Recap: Iroquois Takes a Loss

Iroquois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 76-42 loss at the hands of the Butler Bears. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Bears are ranked 19th).

Iroquois' defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Butler, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Iroquois does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Butler, they will head out on the road to take on Western at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
