Softball Recap: Parkland Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last six games, Parkland finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mount Tabor Spartans, falling 17-1. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Parkland's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Mount Tabor, their record is now 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Parkland will face off against rival Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mount Tabor is set to square off against their familiar foe West Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
