Basketball Recap: Snake River Starts off Right with Win over Buhl

Snake River had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Buhl Indians 67-40 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Buhl lost, don't look at Tate Trevino. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 16 on his way to 20 points. Camron Gorrell was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Buhl's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Snake River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-45 win against Filer on the 7th. As for Buhl, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-55 victory against Fruitland on the 7th.
