Aspermont piles up the points against Lueders-Avoca

Recap: Aspermont Hornets vs. Lueders-Avoca Raiders

The Aspermont Hornets can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Lueders-Avoca at home to the tune of 64-14. With Aspermont ahead 40-4 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Aspermont got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Seth Johnson out in front who scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Hodges, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Aspermont is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Lueders-Avoca, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rotan the next time they take the court. Aspermont will head out to face Rotan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lueders-Avoca will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
