After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ben L. Smith, Page was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 61-60 victory over the Western Guilford Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Page's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lucas Schwab, who went 9-for-14 en route to 22 points and six rebounds. Those 22 points gave Schwab a new career-high. Mason Duggins was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Page was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Page's record is now 9-7. As for Western Guilford, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 10-8 record.

Coming up, Page will face off against Dudley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Western Guilford, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 83-67 defeat against Ben L. Smith on the 23rd.
