Smithfield has gone a perfect 3-0 against Gloucester recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Packers will be playing at home against the Dukes at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The Packers' defense stepped up to hand Bruton a 3-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for Smithfield in their matchups with Bruton: they've now won eight in a row.

Smithfield hit Bruton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ashlyn White, Julianna Jones, and Brooke Pall.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Gloucester made sure to put some goals up on the board against Denbigh on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Patriots. With Gloucester ahead 8-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Gloucester's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Smithfield, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Smithfield took their victory against Gloucester when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. Will the Packers repeat their success, or do the Dukes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
