Basketball Recap: Bethel Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

If Puyallup wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bethel, they should've done a better job of containing Timari Fruster. The Bethel Bison walked away with a 50-37 win over the Puyallup Vikings on Friday thanks in part to Fruster, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Aanjili Sanehi was another key player, putting up ten points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Bethel has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Puyallup, they moved to 3-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Bethel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-27 victory against Curtis on the 7th. As for Puyallup, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-29 win against Graham-Kapowsin on the 7th.
