Football Recap: Brandon Colli and Bastian Bowden Pace Sherwood Defense + How To Watch

Sherwood won the last time they faced Tigard and Jace Brown did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bowmen secured a 35-31 W over the Tigers on Friday with plenty of help from Brown, who rushed for 243 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 102.7 rushing yards per game.

Sherwood didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brandon Colli and Bastian Bowden.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aris Dimick, who rushed for 83 yards on only nine carries.

The win got Sherwood back to even at 2-2. As for Tigard, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Sherwood is taking a road trip to square off against Glencoe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bowmen will need to watch out since the Crimson Tide have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Tigard, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against West Linn at 7:00 p.m. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
